marine IGCSE 4 2 practical

Here is my version of the 4.2 practical.

We try to burn food to get an estimate of the energy content. Its a crude way to do an experiment like this, but its not that har to set up, and lighting food on fire will make students happy

You will need:

Boiling tubes

Clamps and stands

Bunzen burner and matches

Water

Meassuring cylinder

A needle or pliers for the food

Eye protection and lab coats

Heat proof tiles or table

Thermometer and scale

Food to be testet
